38.  Choice B is the correct answer.  Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia is not known to be a disorder that typically causes hyperthyroidism.  Conditions known to cause hyperthyroidism include:  Graves Disease, Toxic Multinodular Goiter, Thyroiditis, Hashimoto Thyrotoxicosis, Toxic Adenoma, Multinodular Goiter, Iodine Induced Hyperthyroidism, Trophoblastic Disease, Germ Cell Tumors, Thyroiditis, and exogenous and endogenous thyroid hormone production.
